June Joy at Stonebridge: Celebrating Community, Compassion, and Summer Fun

Summer is in full bloom at Stonebridge Senior Living, and our community is coming alive with celebration, connection, and care. From honoring team members to hosting family-friendly events and supporting meaningful causes, June is a month to remember.

🍽️ Employee of the Month: Otto – Heart of the Kitchen
Congratulations to Otto, our dedicated assistant cook, for being named June’s Employee of the Month! Otto’s culinary creations don’t just nourish—they comfort. With a warm smile and a big heart, he brings joy to every meal and hallway conversation. You might even catch him cruising the neighborhood on his motorcycle after a day’s work!

• June 3 – Grand Opening Celebration (2:00 PM)
  Kick off summer with us! Ribbon cutting, The Hoagies Duo live music, and community tours to showcase the warmth and care of Stonebridge.
• June 6 – Happy Hour with Pete Vrazsity (2:30 PM)
  Cheers to the weekend! Enjoy live music and great company.
• June 13 – Lunch Outing: Olive Garden (11:00 AM)
  A resident favorite returns! Savor pasta and friendship at this classic eatery.
• June 15 – Father’s Day: Jokes & Floats (2:00 PM)
  Root beer floats and lots of laughter—we’re raising a toast to all the wonderful dads in our lives!
• June 20 – Luau Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Awareness
  Celebrate the Longest Day of the Year with sunshine, BBQ (11:00 AM–1:00 PM), tropical drinks, and a live luau show (2:30 PM).
  🎟️ Tickets: $35 | RSVP by June 16 – All proceeds support the Alzheimer’s Association.
• June 28 – Craft Corner: Tie Dye Tote Bags (2:00 PM)
  Let’s get creative! Join us for a fun afternoon of color and creativity.

💜 June 6 – Dementia Support Group (4:00 PM)
Hosted by Regional Memory Care Director, Marci Gerke, this support group offers comfort, understanding, and resources for anyone caring for someone with dementia. Open to the public and held in a safe, supportive space.
